La Paz
The department of La Paz is located in the northwest sector of Bolivia, Pando limited
north, Oruro and Cochabamba to the south, Beni to the east and to the west by the
Republics of Chile and Peru.
Its area is of 133,985 km2, and has approximately 2.350.466 inhabitants.
Its capital is the city of La Paz (3649 m), seat of government, economic and political
capital of Bolivia. Store within itself the synthesis of cultures from around the country,
reflected in festivals and celebrations that are traditional dances and costumes, which
are the expression of the multicultural and ethnic presence are Bolivia.
La Paz is one of the most vibrant cities in Latin America, to which nature has endowed
with forms and colors that make it a fascinating place. The constant wakefulness of the
majestic Illimani (6462 m).

Tourist Attractions:
Lake Titicaca. Place of legends and history. His energy attracts visitors from all over the

Manko Kapac and Mama Ocllo (equivalent to Adam and Eve in Andean culture) is said

a couple of hours. Climate and vegetation change on a fantastic journey of just over two hours. Extreme sports like trekking,
mountain biking etc. are practiced in this area.
It is the gateway to the Amazon area of San Buenaventura and Rurrenabaque (Beni)
part of the famous Madidi National Park. There are Indian enterprises as the
Uchipiamonas’ that wish to preserve natural resources and environment and offer
ecolodges giving travelers an opportunity to enjoy nature in all its grandeur. The
